There was a nice little drop of snow down here at the bottom of the hill today - nothing outrageous, but definitely a big improvement. Based on this the hill announced that everything will be open tomorrow. More upper terrain and more lifts are certainly going to be welcome, but our lower mountain experiences on XC stuff today suggest it is going to be pretty dicey down low.

I haven't been up since the 24th, but my fifteen year old son and a friend did head out today and came back relatively unimpressed. However they are extremely jaded and picky and I suspect most folks would have found the skiing, but probably not the lines, fine.

At 17:00 it is -5 C and snowing lightly at the house.
