Craig's FAR Update 2002/12/2: There was some pretty serious hoar frost over the weekend, with up to half a centimeter or more now clinging to every little twig on the lower ski hill. This made the lower mountain look more satisfyingly white and in a reversal of the normal, it is the upper trees that remain dark. However deep hoar skiing isn't all that satisfying, so the hill has now officially moved opening day back to December 13th. The weatherman is calling for flurries today and there was the odd flake falling up on the hill, but nothing serious is predicted and then nothing at all until at least Friday. :-(
