March 26, 2000Sun WorshipIt was a bright warm sunny day and there was some terrific skiing on the mountain as long as you played the sun right. The shady bits could be nasty, but bright spots softened into lovely spring mush that encouraged exuberant skiing. There seemed to be more folks about today, but we still didn't run into any significant lines. Everything was open except for the Face Lift which apparently had some misfortune that caused its cable to fall off, thus ending its day. So that's it - sun = good, shade = bad, wear sunscreen. At a little past five the sky is still clear and the porch thermometer is claiming
10 C on what was recently the sunny side of the house. |
