Firm, but pretty good

There was no new or fluffy snow today and there were places where you could find some mild breaking crust, some hard to icy spots (down low) and even the odd rock poking through. Still I thought the skiing was pretty good. Generally the snow carved well, particularly where already chopped up by previous traffic and it was a pretty day with near ideal temperatures. I also skied most of the day with my family which usually (not always <g>) puts me in a more charitable frame of mind.

Everything except the Face Lift is now open but lots of areas are still rather twiggy.

At 7:40 PM it is -7 C at the house and I can't see any stars, so I assume it is cloudy.
