Saturday Slush

jan07982.JPG (6135 bytes)It was WARM and soft to the point of slushy everywhere today.  Great hero snow that made even the pointy moguls manageable.   If this stuff freezes without new snow though, it isn't going to be very pretty.

Here my son poses on Snake Ridge on the way down to Glades.  The alders of Steep and Deep are visible at the left showing that about another metre of base would be nice for that run.

I don't know how warm it got, but it is still 5C at the house at a quarter past five.   It was mainly cloudy and rain seemed imminent on occasion, but other times the sun poked through for a true spring sensation.  It is now uniformly gray.
