No picture today, just a quick note to say the ski hill is now reporting an opening date of the 18th. Rumour has it that they are talking about downloading if necessary to make that date happen at all cost.
There has been no significant change since the December 5th report and my front yard still looks pretty much like it did then. We did get a few very light flurries, but the accumulation down here would have been measured in millimetres. It is quite cool now with morning temperatures in the minus teens (C) and day time highs still well below freezing. Perfect snow weather except for one little detail. Sigh...
