Snow Returns

No real news other than it snowed fairly heavily up on the mountain last night. The trees were pretty well loaded from just above the Tamarack and up, although there was only a skiff of slush down at the house. Still it looks right and it is about the right time.

I was asking some questions about the cat skiing the other day and the plan is for it to be unguided and at least one of the drop off zones will be on the ridge between Currie and Timber up by the vent hole. This should be very tasty. I also asked about access to the area by skiers hiking in. It will be treated as out of bounds, but people will still be able to hike in as they do now. This should allay the concerns of those who were afraid that Currie might have been closed to anyone not buying a cat ticket.

If you haven't checked out the main FSV page yet this fall, please do and in particular the What's New sections.
